Residual income is defined as getting paid over and over for doing your work one time. In the past this mostly applied to industries such as insurance, or network marketing. Today it is possible for anyone to achieve residual income using the Internet, and we want to take a closer look at how to do that in this article.
Affiliate programs are where you get paid to sell other people's products. Two-tier affiliate programs are where you get paid a commission on the sales of recruiting people to sell other people's products.
In a two-tier program, you will only get paid on the sales of people that you personally sponsor. Unlike network marketing where you can earn commissions many levels deep, two-tier programs allow you to concentrate on working directly with front-line people.
Two Tier programs are fantastic for people who enjoy selling but also with developing a sales force. The Internet is perfect for this because there are thousands of two-tier affiliate programs you can join for free.
Network marketing used to be known as multilevel marketing or an MLM business. Today the industry has cleaned up its image thanks to the success of many people online. You can still earn a residual income with network marketing as long as you build a business large enough that it is creating an ongoing income whether you work or not.
This is known as building your own distributorship and is done thru duplicating your efforts and sponsoring. You can make money retailing products with network marketing, but the residual income comes from building a group of people who market products and build their own downline as well.
The Internet offers many different membership programs available to you. Selling products that have an ongoing need every month is easily accomplished online. Website hosting is one example of this as everybody needs a website and once they get one started they continue to pay for it every month.
Other industries that are proven to do very well with paid membership programs providing residual income, include niche marketing, private label rights, resell rights clubs, article marketing, and many more. If people need it over and over a membership is the way to sell it to them.
In summary, residual income is fantastic because it allows you to gain more control over your schedule as you develop it. The Internet is a great way to develop residual income because it offers so many different ways to do it quickly.
